Parking in Brighton

This has always been our main concern as we do not wish to breach our agreement with the pool proprietors or cause nuisance to their neighbours.

In your initial and renewal emails, you will find a section on Parking.

SwimSkills parents are not allowed for any reason to park on Sunnydale Avenue or Sunnydale Close this is monitored constantly and we will be reported to the council if we do not adhere to the strict conditions. Breach of this could result in SwimSkills being refused further pool hire.

We hope our parents will understand and work with us regarding this matter. Thank you.

Free parking is always available on Carden Avenue across the road. Please pass this on to anyone who brings your child to lessons. We thank you for your full cooperation with this matter.

Lessons are paid in advance termly according to the Sussex academic year.

We are not able to offer catch-up lessons if a swimmer has missed a class or is on holiday due to full classes.

“I started taking my son to Little Swim Skills as a baby and continued until he started school. By the time we stopped going he was a confident swimmer, able to swim unaided and even learnt how to dive in. We would love to have continued with Virginia. Through all the screaming and tears there were at times Virginia kept her patience and never gave up on him! A wonderful swimming teacher!”
(Samantha Stevens)

”Virginia is a great instructor, very calm and clear with instructions and really knowledgable.  My son is just over 3 years old and has learnt so much thanks to Virginia. Would highly recommend 😃!”

“Our son has special educational needs (ASC), and has benefited enormously from his 2:1 lessons with Virginia. In just 6 weeks, Virginia has helped him overcome his fears, and he is now happy and confident in the water. His progress has been incredible. Virginia and her team are special because they get to know the individual child, and they work with the child's strengths to overcome their challenges. The quiet pool and Virginia's calm and supportive approach allow him to focus and always feel safe. I would highly recommend their tuition!”
